Aparna Reddy Aryabumi is a passionate and accomplished engineering and manufacturing organizational leader with over 11 years of relevant experience. She is currently the Founder and CEO of Aiara Inc, a company that specializes in interdisciplinary applications of IoT, AI, and manufacturing. Aparna is a Stanford Engineer, having completed her Masters in Materials Science Engineering from Stanford University in 2010. Prior to founding Aiara Inc, Aparna worked with several top-notch companies, including Facebook and Apple. At Facebook, she served as the Manufacturing Operations Lead for AR/VR and was part of the product launch team for Facebook's first AI-based consumer hardware product, Portal. She was also the manufacturing technical operations head for Portal's Smart Camera and qualified manufacturers based in China, Korea, and Taiwan. At Apple, Aparna worked as a Manufacturing Design Engineer for Apple Watch. Aparna has also worked with DreamVu as the Head of ME and Manufacturing. There, she directly managed a cross-functional organization of product design engineers, industrial designers, FATP engineers, manufacturing design engineers, and engineering program managers for the design, product development, and manufacturing of DreamVu's 360 depth sensor product. She also managed all the supply chain verticals for DreamVu across India, SE Asia, China, and the USA. Aparna's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University and a Master's degree in Materials Science Engineering from Stanford University. Her tech stack includes AI, product design, and design. Aparna is passionate about interdisciplinary applications of IoT, AI, and manufacturing and is always looking for innovative ways to solve complex problems.
